A little bit about Eve Taylor, yes she really is a person!
Eve established the brand in 1963. She started out as a mobile beauty therapist and quickly became interested in “aromatherapy” the practical and therapeutic use of essential oils.
Through years of study, practice and experience Eve developed a range of pre blended aromatherapy oils and specific methods and techniques for their application.
Eve’s aromatherapy techniques (Clinical Aromatherapy) have been adopted as the industry’s gold standard for professional aromatherapy and are taught extensively throughout the world.
Over the five decades since their inception, Eve’s original aromatherapy blends still provide both professional therapists and their clients with outstanding results keeping demand high around the globe.
Sue will conduct a thorough skin consultation at your first appointment. This will be updated at every appointment to ensure you receive the best possible treatment on the day. Your initial skin consultation will add 15 minutes to your first appointment and will consequently be a little longer than the times advised on the treatment menu.

MICROdermabrasion
What is it? Microdermabrasion treatment is an intense exfoliation and resurfacing treatment using ultra fine crystals that rejuvenate the skin. The crystals work as a gentle abrasive on the skin to remove dead skin cells layer by layer. The irregular shape of the crystals helps to work on the hard to reach areas without any damage to skin. The vacuum suction of the machine stimulates the circulation and promotes increased blood flow to the area. The production of collagen and elastin is stimulated which results in firmer, more youthful looking skin. With each of your subsequent Microdermabrasion treatments the intensity of the facial microdermabrasion machine can be increased- reaching to the deeper layers and successfully removing acne scarring, lifting pigmentation, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
Luxury Microdermabrasion treatment includes a sterile sheet mask containing active ingredients to replenish, calm and firm the skin after treatment.
Who is it for? Anyone will benefit from microdermabrasion treatment. It improves the overall appearance of the skin giving a healthy glow and youthful appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How quickly will I see a difference? – You will see results immediately and with each subsequent treatment your skin will continue to look progressively better.
Are there any side effects? – After treatment, the skin may feel tighter with mild redness. Therefore, it is important to use a good moisturiser. These effects normally subside within 24 hours of treatment. Aftercare moisturiser is available to purchase in the salon.
How long does the treatment take? - Usually 30 minutes, up to 60 minutes for luxury microdermabrasion.
How often should I have treatment? Treatments are usually performed every 7-14 days initially as part of a course. How many treatments will be in the course will be discussed at your first appointment, totally depending on the condition and concerns you have with your skin. Maintenance appointments should be maintained 4 weekly after a course to keep your skin in tip top condition.
Aftercare:
12 hours – no heavy make up
24 hours – no swimming, facial waxing or fake tan
48 hours – no “botox”, collagen injections or dermal fillers. No sun exposure, sun beds or heat treatments.
72 hours – No AHA’s, glycolic or retinol. No anti-ageing creams or exfoliating products.
Make sure you moisturise regularly to prevent the skin from becoming dry and use a sun protection factor of at least SPF 30 all the time.

HAIR removal
In the salon we use a premium brand called wax:one
wax:one strip wax is used on legs, arms and chest, it is a rosin-free gel crème strip wax. It leaves no sticky residue on the skin.
wax:one hot wax, with its super thin consistency and low working temperature, makes it perfect for sensitive skin and delicate areas of the body. It is used for all intimate waxing as the wax adheres to the hair itself and not the skin, so making any intimate waxing much less painful.
Both waxes have incredible results removing all hair types, hair should be no shorter than a grain of rice. The hair has a natural growth cycle, ideally four to six weeks growth is needed for your first waxing appointment to ensure the best results. Regular waxing appointments will maintain your chosen area to remain hair free.
We operate a no double dipping policy in the salon, which for our clients means that the spatula is dipped in the wax pot once and applied to your skin, the spatula is then discarded. This guarantees the safest and most hygienic treatment.
Aftercare advice post waxing: no hot showers or baths, no sun exposure, no gym or swimming, no fake tan or moisturisers, all for 24 hours after your hair removal treatment. Please refrain from any form or hair removal before your next appointment. It is recommended to exfoliate and moisturise regularly. Retail products are available in salon to prevent ingrown hairs between appointments.

Hot wax is used for all intimate waxing and underarms.
EYE treatments
Lash & Brow Tinting, Waxing, Tweezing, Brow Lamination and LVL Lash Lifts are offered in the salon.
Patch test is required for all new clients at least 48 hours before treatment if you are having a tint or lash lift.
Lash Tinting can open they eyes and make the lashes look longer as they are tinted right from the root to the tip. Ideal for holidays. Generally, clients opt for a blue/black colour as it is the darkest colour, making the eyes pop.
Brow Tinting can really shape the face, especially when coupled with waxing or brow lamination treatments. The colour that you would like to achieve is discussed before the brows are tinted. We want you to be happy with the colour when you leave. We find that clients start off cautiously and as time goes on they get a little bit bolder with the depth of the colour they choose.
Brow Waxing & Tweezing gives shape and definition to brows. The shape desired is discussed before the treatment commences.
LVL Lash Lift
Exclusive to Nouveau Lashes, LVL Lash Lift is the revolutionary lash treatment that creates masses of length, volume and lift with your own natural lashes. No mascara. No extensions. No maintenance.
It’s a great alternative to lash extensions and the perfect way to enhance what you already have, whether your lashes are long, short, thick or stubborn. This treatment will create the look of longer, fuller lashes that make your eyes appear more open and youthful as well as saving time in your morning routine. So, if you’re looking for a long-lasting, low maintenance, natural looking eyelash enhancement then Nouveau Lashes LVL lash lift is for you. The treatment also includes a lash tint.
The LVL treatment straightens and lifts your natural lashes at the root, giving the effect of longer, lifted lashes in approximately an hour. The results are instant and last for 6-8 weeks.
Patch test is required for all new clients, minimum of 48 hours prior to treatment. These can be posted to you, there is a card for you to complete and bring with you to your appointment as evidence that you have done the test. This an insurance requirement.
Aftercare: Do not get lashes wet for 24 hours, do not manipulate them or play with them. Avoid steam, sauna and swimming for the first 48 hours. Ensure lashes are not disturbed or manipulated into different positions (eg. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisture or cosmetics) do not perm lashes or use lash curlers. Avoid strong sunlight or UV light (if tinted).

Nail Enhancements
The nail enhancements on offer in the salon are CND Liquid & Powder and CND Plexigel. Both systems provide length when appropriate, form sculpting is used when length is needed. Sometimes your nails don’t need it, they just need additional strength and durability. I find some clients prefer one or the other, if you are unsure of the best system for you this can be discussed at your initial appointment.
Despite the many myths that constantly circulate, it is not the products that cause damage to your nails. The main reasons for this can be: not following after care advice, picking/biting your enhancements, not attending regular maintenance appointments as advised by your technician, all can cause damage and affect longevity. At present, only hand filing is used in the salon and not an E-file

There are lots of gel polish brands on the market, there will always only be one genuine Shellac.
CND’s power polish has literally taken over the industry since it was launched in May 2010. Shellac is applied just like a polish, is instantly dry and really does come off in minutes!
Shellac stays flexible yet tough, which makes it suitable for both brittle nails prone to splitting and breaking as well as weak nails that struggle to grow.
Shellac is designed for the natural nail client who simply can’t keep polish on for more than a few days or who ends up smudging them even before they leave the salon!
With over 150 colours available (including French) there is something for everyone as the possibilities are endless. Glitters, layering colours, coupled with stamping and foils can all change the look of a plain gel polish colour.
Shellac removal is quick and easy, when done professionally it causes no damage to the natural nail.

Pedicures
All standard pedicures include a foot soak, cuticle work, exfoliating foot scrub, shaping of toenails, finished off with a moisturising lower leg and foot massage. We feel that the foot soak and scrub is part of the experience of a pedicure, it also softens the skin and the cuticle area ready for treatment.
It is totally your choice whether you have CND Shellac or Vinylux polish, you can even leave toenails bare.
Elim Pedicure – includes cuticle work and nail shape, AHA foot scrub and clay mask, foot soak, with the addition of a medical grade skin peel for safe and painless treatment of hard skin and calluses, finished off with moisturiser and vinylux polish or shellac colour of your choice. The peel works by breaking down the protein bonds that bind together the dead skin cells of the epidermis. No filing/rasping of hard skin is needed within this pedicure. This truly is a luxury treat for your feet.
You can have the Elim peel/scrub as a stand alone treatment, without any other elements of the pedicure, (you leave with toe nails the same as when you arrived, no cuticle work, shaping, or polishing is included).
If you are having regular polish as part of your pedicure please remember to bring along suitable footwear to leave the salon in.

SPRAY tanning
Achieve a beautiful sun kissed glow with a spray tan. Available in full body tan, upper or lower half. The choice is yours.
Spray tans are ideal pre wedding, holiday or for a day at the races.
Prior to your tan, please exfoliate and shave or wax before you come to your appointment. It is not possible to have waxing immediately prior to a tan, and definitely not ideal to have it after as it will lift the tan.
Spray tan can last for 5-7 days. It really depends how you care for it, if you sit in the bath for an hour every night it will wear off quicker. Quick showers and a good body moisturiser can help keep your tan looking tip top whilst you still have it.
After your spray tan you should not shower for 4-6 hours. Then you can jump in a quick shower to reveal your beautiful even colour. I pride myself on never having sent anyone home orange and false looking!
I will happily tan you naked or with underwear on. I have teeny disposable pants in the salon if you prefer to wear them instead of your own.
There is absolutely no need to feel embarrassed when you come for a tan, I am concentrating on where the spray is going and not what you look like.
